This is actually kind of fun. It gives them something to focus on. Something nice, that isn't... everything else that's happened lately. Dating and taking care of a cat are way better. ]
[ Do-yoon is in the process of building a cat tree. He is not succeeding. He may have spent his bass money on all this stuff, but it's money well-spent. He wants this to work... and truthfully, he's kind of always wanted a cat. He'd never stayed in one place for long, so being here... it's great.
Plus, it'll make Gyu-hyuk smile. Do-yoon will do whatever it takes to protect that smile. ]
[ That's so sweet that he's doing that. He'll feel bad if he knows that was supposed to be his bass money!!! But at the same time, it is really sweet that they're both working on this together. ]
[ They'll just have to make that sweet bass money on their date! Which is pretty much what Do-yoon planned to do in the first place. But he's soo excited to see this giant cat in Gyu-hyuk's hands that he puts his stuff down and comes over to say hi. ]
Mr. Whiskers, huh? [ He is speaking to the cat. In the carrier. Do-yoon has no idea how big this cat is just yet. ] Nice to meet you.
[ That's so.... cute.... Do-yoon looks into the carrier, watching in anticipation to see if the cat will come out and play. He still can't see it very clearly, so he might be expecting like a cool black cat or something. Definitely not a giant maine coon. ]

[ Is the cat about to go out and investigate the apartment? Because yeah, that would be about right. ]
[ There goes the giant grey-blue cat to investigate. But it's not really that -- he just thinks, it's pretty. And it has that kind of vaguely goth aesthetic. ]
[ That is a much larger cat than Do-yoon expected! Maybe the long hair...? It definitely does have a bit of his old aesthetic going on. ]

[ Mr. Whiskers for his part seems to be trying to sniff everything in their little apartment, his big fluffy tail bobbing side to side as he goes. He looks pretty happy. And soft. If anything, Do-yoon would say he reminds him of Gyu-hyuk.
Oh, yeah, Gyu-hyuk is also here. Do-yoon cannot fanboy over this cat forever, so he moves to show Gyu-hyuk where he's put everything. ]
He seems great. I got everything set up in the cabinet -- food, treats, the stuff for the litter box...
[ He was maybe a little excited, don't tell anyone. ]
[ Big and gentle and soft... Do-yoon smiles when Gyu-hyuk takes his hand, turning to him almost shyly. Definitely just to get more chroma, uh-huh. ]

[ the idea that he is helping fulfill a wish that do-yoon has always had makes him just ascend tbh. He feels so warm and fulfilled. Ah...even the amount of chroma they are producing as a result is more. How embarrassing.

[ It's good for their chroma, so he will continue to be soft. Naw, let's be real, they both know Do-yoon's cool, stoic face was mostly for the public anyway. ]

I think I spent too much on the cat toys. [ He smiles, leaning over to kiss Gyu-hyuk's cheek. ] Wanna help me make some of it back?
[ He turns to him in kind, and kisses him on the lips?? Bold....but also, he's really tired and Do-yoon is really cute and they have a cat now and this is just really great.
[ Bold.... but Do-yoon likes that Gyu-hyuk takes the initiative too, it makes his pulse speed up, a smile tugging on his lips as he leans into the kiss.

[ It's so cute how a strong guy like Gyu-hyuk is just a sweetheart who wants to be held gently and loved tenderly. Do-yoon's known this about him since they first met, and he loves him for it. He places his arms around Gyu-hyuk's waist, slotting himself between his legs. They're making plenty of chroma just like this, honestly. ]
[ Pressing close like that definitely gives him ...a lot of chroma. He’s not sure he’s ready to do it again, yet, he’s so tired and he’s afraid feeling that nice might make him fall asleep but. Touching like this is probably okay. ]
[ They should probably play it safe, it's true, but Do-yoon has been known to make poor decisions. Still, he knows Gyu-hyuk is new at this stuff and he meant it when he said they could go at his pace.
At least until Sanguis comes around and changes that, but you know. They've still got time. So Do-yoon keeps close and keeps his arms on Gyu-hyuk's waist, smiling softly. ]
Feels more like a getaway, the two of us moving in together and getting a cat and everything.
It does. It’s strange not practicing all the time. Although I guess, I still feel tired not sleeping like this.

Yeah, this nightmare stuff might be worse than all the practicing.
[ Do-yoon is also running on fumes, though that reminds him. He nods to the fridge, not wanting to leave Gyu-hyuk's embrace just yet. Even Mr. Whiskers has come to join in on this cuddle. ]
I got you some more iced coffee, if you want some. It's in the fridge.
It's kind of the only thing keeping me awake right now.
[ Gyu-hyuk may notice a very tall, Prismabucks-branded cup on the table... it's got remnants of whipped cream and it's empty. Do-yoon has had so much coffee, it's no wonder his brain went to "let's build a cat tree, why not." ]
Everybody says these things happen, but they go away in a few days. Hopefully things'll get back to normal soon. Whatever normal is here.
