Acoustic is more freeform than something like piano. You should have no trouble picking it up.

[ He shrugs. That's fairly standard to him. But they've got their room now and Do-yoon lets them in -- the interior is just your usual sound-studio room, with pointy walls to absorb the sound and what have you. There are a few chairs and amps, but they'll only need the chairs for now.
Do-yoon places his guitar-case on the ground, pulling out a few things from one of the pockets. A tuner, some picks, extra strings... he's got everything you need. ]
Alright, sit down and lemme see your guitar. The first thing you have to learn is how to tune it.
That's all right, an English song will do just as well. It's the sentiment that's important.
[He's staring at all the stuff, not sure what most of it is for. He takes his guitar and rests it on his leg, cradling it in the proper position. This much he knows because the salesperson told him]
Isn't it a bit like tuning a violin? You use these bits up here?
Got it. So you want something like, romantic, I guess? But easy?
[ There you go, off to a good start. Do-yoon holds his guitar much the same, starting at the strings and picking them softly. ]
Yeah, you adjust these till you get the right sound. This side's D, A, E, and this side's G, B, and E. I can basically tune by ear, but you can get a tuner like this to go off of.
[ He fiddles with the tuner, which plays a simple note. It'll do this for all six of them, needless to say. ]
Grab a pick and strum until it sounds like the tuner. Easy, right?
[He listens to the explanation, nodding along and plucking the strings as Do-yoon mentions them. The tuner helps as Jacob plucks at the strings in turn to get them all sounding on pitch]
Cool. Once you've got that down, try and put your fingers like this.
[ Do-yoon demonstrates a simple chord, showing off the difference in the sound. Let's go with A since that's easiest and I can't actually play the guitar. ]
That's A. Make sure you're in the right fret or it'll sound off. And you've gotta use these fingers. [ He demonstrates, leaving his index off while the other three press down on the strings. ] So you can move 'em easier.
[ He'll just continue on like this, focusing on three chords at most. He really likes music... ]
Sounds simple, but once you string them together, it actually sounds alright.
[Jacob shifts his fingers in the proper position, playing the chord so he can hear what it should sound like. And the same when he's shown the other chords]
